The Pacific Northwest Shrine Association (PNSA) was created by pulling together Shriners from our region. PNSA covers a territory which includes Shrines from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. It also includes Shrines from Alberta and British Columbia, Canada.
There are typically two meeting sessions per year – Winter and Summer. Winter Session is for business purposes and Summer Session is to bring the Nobles and their Ladies together to have fun and fellowship. The PNSA Shrines take turns hosting these sessions.
The Nile Shrine hosted PNSA back in 2017, we all had a great time. Not only did we invite Nobles from the various PNSA temples, but we encouraged them to bring along their significant others. Clown Units, Oriental Bands and Legion of Honor Flag Units were invited to come to Nile for some healthy competition. The event was well attended, and we even arranged to have everyone participate in the annual Tour de Terrace Parade held in Mountlake Terrace, WA.
In the year 2021, Nile was planning to host the Summer Session, but PNSA was cancelled due to COVID.
